I am also an enthusiast of online learning and the amazing web.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0am also currently a researcher at the Laboratory of Distance Education (LEaD), Universidade Aberta, Portugal. I taught in the eLearning Pedagogy and the Educacional Multimedia Communication Master\u2019s Programs at Universidade Aberta, Portugal. I participated as a co-author and facilitator in the online teaching training program developed at Universidade Aberta (part of the Innovation Program in Distance Education], with courses both for Universidade Aberta\u2019s professors and tutors, and for other Portuguese universities as well.<\/p>\n<p>I co-authored, with Ant\u00f3nio Teixeira (UAb), the <a href=\"https:\/\/repositorioaberto.uab.pt\/handle\/10400.2\/9007\">iMOOC, a pedagogical model for MOOCs<\/a> used at Universidade Aberta. I was also part of the team who designed the pedagogical framework for European MOOCs [sMOOC], the core mission of the <a href=\"https:\/\/project.eco-learning.eu\">European project ECO<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My master&#8217;s dissertation, &#8220;From Web 2.0 to eLearning 2.0: Learning in the Network&#8221; is available in an online version @ <a href=\"https:\/\/josemota.pt\/aprendernarede\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/josemota.pt\/aprendernarede<\/a> (Portuguese only, but there&#8217;s an abstract in English and, with the continuous improvement of Google Translator, I believe it&#8217;s readable in other languages as well).<\/p>\n<p>My interests include eLearning 2.0, connectivism and networked learning, MOOCs, open distance learning and open educational resources.
