This one on the funding of political campaigns by corporations is perhaps a bit specific of the United States, but it&#8217;s easy to see how the critique to the excessive power corporations have in our societies can be applied to other situations, of which the current economical crisis is only one example &#8211; how many promises of change were made regarding regulation and punishing the culprits and how quickly things have returned to business as usual, with these same people continuing doing what they do &#8211; profit at all costs.
